You should drive the car without Rev's lenses for a month just so you can appreciate them all the more when you do install them.

Haha no thanks. I worked my butt off installing them. Things have changed since his install guide. There's now a nice write up in my thread.
My NA's stable mate died the other day.
She came up lame and we had to put her down.
Very sad, she had been with us for nine years.
However the circle of life rolls on and we were
blessed with a healthy new born sibling for our NA.
She came with a spot light to summon The Batman.
And a hidden red button to call the Commissioner

Well they're not really new I've had them sitting in the garage for maybe two years because I ended up fitting the 14 inch version. But I just decided to clean them up today using Sonax extreme wheel cleaner (the stuff that turns purple after a few min).
Probably a couple decades of brake dust caked onto these wheels, not even a whole bottle of Sonax could fully clean them... I'll have to attack them again later. At least they're clean enough to mount now.
What do u guys think of the 13 inch gold centres look?

Someone's breaking this brg na8 and I have arrange to pick up both doors, door cards and boot lid. Since the whole car is going to be resprayed, I don't mind the different colour.
Carbonmiata manual window cranks. They arrived a couple days ago, and were installed that night. Here's how my door looks now from the inside...

^ is that any different from the gho? looks identical
Looks amazing.
GHO took a mold of a complete M2-1001 bumper upper and lower section. Their front bumper is all one piece fiberglass and is a complete replacement front bumper.
At the request of Club M2, D-Technique took a mold of a M2-1001 lower section only. Their front bumper is two-pieces consisting of the fiberglass lower portion mated to an OEM urethane front bumper upper half that's been cut. Because it uses the same construction method as the original, it is a more authentic replica of the M2-1001 front bumper. There was only ever ~300 M2-1001 made. M2 went out of business in 1995 and they never had many repair parts on hand to begin with and whatever there was dried up quickly.
I'm sure a Club M2 member with a genuine M2-1001 could ask Toshihiro-san to make a new D-Technique bumper. But for the rest of us, it is no longer available new. There used to be one other car in the USA with this same front bumper. Shin Yoshikawa of Studio Time Capsule used to own a yellow Maruha Motors demo car in California for many years. That car was a huge inspiration for me. Now it resides with a new owner in British Columbia and is looked after by Ocean at Chikara Motorsports.
