A fellow member of a diecast board I'm on followed up on a CL ad for some Redlines, turned out the seller was Jack Clark (author of The Elite Redline Guide, and a few other Redline books). Here are the combined posts.
Jack happens to live about a couple miles from where I grew up. I was in town visiting family, followed up on a Redline Craigslist post I found, and came to find out that it was Jack! He also let me check out his personal collection. It was easily the largest collection that I've seen in person. He has some very rare pieces and so many minty examples.
